MY STORY
Hello there,
I'm Lauren, the creative mind behind Elle & Reid, a seasoned fashion designer based in Los Angeles. With over two decades in the fashion industry, I've honed my craft, pushed boundaries, and established myself alongside top global brands.
My journey began in Boston, where as a young girl I nurtured a love for art, This passion led me to Iowa State University, where I specialized in Apparel, Merchandising, Design & Production with a focus on Fashion Design. A life-changing opportunity to study at the prestigious London College of Fashion broadened my horizons and REALLY cemented my love for design.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with renowned companies where I've gained an extensive understanding of fit, patterns, product development, and concept design. As the Senior Design Manager for Reebok, I unleashed iconic designs that pushed the envelope of innovation, even earning a US design patent for the Reebok franchise running jacket.
With a vision that's both intuitive and creative, I've designed for globally recognized Fashion, Athleisure, Performance, and Streetwear brands including Fabletics, Juicy by Juicy Couture, Forever 21, and Legends. My designs have graced the wardrobes of celebrities, athletes, and influential figures across the globe, from Drake to Kevin Hart and Floyd Mayweather.
As one of the few women of color in the corporate fashion design industry, I've been steadfast in making my mark, turning challenges into stepping stones, and infusing diversity into my unique designs. Today, NOW I'm all about helping others build successful fashion brands, offering my wealth of experience through MY consulting & COACHING services.
